THEATRETRAIN IS A VISITING COMPANY

Theatretrain return with their weekly themed Summerschools.

Theatretrain term-time classes on Saturday Mornings and Friday Evenings offer pupils the opportunity to train in Singing, Dancing and Acting. The programme for the Summerschool Workshop has been developed to offer a full programme of a variety of skills. We have kept the three core skills but added some new and exciting subjects that will give the children an insight into other areas of performance.

We have secured the services of a number of industry professionals to complement the skills of our existing team. As well as having the opportunity to work with a variety of teachers, the children will be able to hear first hand from professional actors and performance artists.

Whilst we acknowledge that these workshops and masterclasses are not able to go into a lot of detail, we are hopeful that it will provide a sufficient 'taster' of life in the Performing Arts as a profession. There are also the additional benefits of having fun whilst learning!

Parents, family and friends are invited to join us for an end of week presentation at 3.00pm on Friday.
